Hailing from Mumbai, the cinematographer has a passion for shooting feature films, ad commercials, and music videos. She aspires to work on a powerful drama, a thought-provoking sci-fi, or a stylistic noir, drawn to the unique content and visual possibilities of these genres.

​During her time as an assistant and associate to veteran cinematographer Ravi K Chandran ISC, she gained invaluable experience on large-scale sets and learned the dynamics of big-budget productions. Assisting in his projects was a crucial learning curve that prepared her for her career as a cinematographer.

A true team player, she is dedicated to closely collaborating with directors to achieve their vision and translate their emotions into every frame. She stays on top of the latest technology and advancements in cinematography, often spending her free time testing new gear, lenses, lights, and cameras.

Describing herself as more of a dreamer than a realist, she believes this quality helps her work stand out, while her analytical side keeps her grounded. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys trying new recipes from around the world, travelling, and engaging in mindful conversations with insightful people. The cinematographer is always open to new and exciting collaborations.

She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Cinematography, a course that was a pivotal and exciting period in her life. The program focused entirely on cinematography, providing a deep dive into her craft. During this time, she attended workshops led by renowned cinematographers like Barun Mukharjee and Soumendu Roy. It was also on campus that she fatefully met her mentor, DP Ravi K Chandran ISC.
